What makes RevoMitt different from regular wipes or sprays?
RevoMitt’s mitt design gives you better reach, control, and contact than flat wipes or sprays. Flat wipes can be hard to maneuver inside gloves, shoes, helmets, and pads, while sprays bottles can't get into deep areas and can leak in your gym bag. RevoMitt goes on your hand so you can wipe directly where your gear needs it.
What sports gear can I use RevoMitt on?
RevoMitt is formulated to work on most common sports gear surfaces, especially gear you do not normally put in the washing machine. Use it on boxing gloves, hockey gloves, cleats, golf shoes, helmets, hats, protective pads, shin guards, yoga mats, exercise mats, gym equipment, and more.
For delicate materials, specialty leather, suede, nubuck, or gear with special coatings, test on a small hidden area first and follow the gear manufacturer’s care instructions.
Does RevoMitt help with odor?
Yes. RevoMitt is formulated to help clean sweaty gear and reduce odor caused by sweat. It helps wipe away the sweat, dirt, and grime that can lead to odor buildup, so your gear stays fresher between deep cleans.
Is RevoMitt a disinfecting wipe or sanitizer?
No. RevoMitt is a sports gear cleaner, not a disinfecting wipe or sanitizer. We intentionally chose not to use harsh disinfecting chemicals because they can be irritating on your skin and may be too aggressive for certain gear surfaces.
How do I use RevoMitt?
- Put one RevoMitt on your hand.
- Start by wiping the areas of your gear that come into contact with your body, such as the inside of hats, shoes, gloves, helmets, and pads. These are the spots where sweat and odor usually build up first.
- Wipe the outside surfaces to clean away dirt, grime, and marks from regular use.
- Use both sides of the mitt for more cleaning coverage. (Some people even flip the mitt inside out to get more use)
- Throw the mitt away after use.
